Hazel Irene Norrad born in Taxis River NB passed away peacefully surrounded by family at Central Carlton Nursing Home in Hartland on February 3/26 at the age of 86.

She was the daughter of Paul and Ivy Bruce, married to Gary Norrad, survived by daughter Michelle Everett (Jeff), son Derrick Norrad (Amy), grandchildren Justin Everett, Brandon Everett, Kelsey Davidson (John), Micky Norrad, Damon Norrad (Ashley), Ward White, Dean White and great grandchildren Liam Davidson, Emmett Davidson and Amelia Norrad. Tammy Norrad (Sylvain). Special Niece Jill Haley and family. Nephew Larry Pond (Elaine) and Keith Griffin (Liane). Brother-in-law Bill Griffin, sister in laws Norine Norrad and Daisy Norrad, Lona Norrad and Janice Pond, Bev, Harold, Connie (Pinky) Bruce, Nora Hinchy, Karen and David Agnew.

She was predeceased by her parents Paul and Ivy Bruce, her husband Gary Norrad, sisters Shirley Pond and Faye Griffin, nephew Wayne Pond and very special friend Varney Gibson who meant a lot to her.

Hazel was a devoted mother and a wonderful Nanny, loved to teach and taught in school.

Hazel and Gary moved to Nackawic and lived there for more than 50 years until he passed in 2016. Gary worked as a machine tender and was truly loved by his wife.

Keeping with Hazel's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service, a private family interment will be held at the United Church Cemetery in Boiestown  NB in the spring.
