McCarron, Hazel Rosemary (Muldrew)

Our family wishes to announce the passing of Hazel Rosemary McCarron which occurred on Saturday, November 18th, 2023, in Seminole, Florida. Born in Oakville, Ontario on October 16th, 1946, she was a daughter of the late James Orville and Blanche (Post) Muldrew.

Hazel spent most of her working career with Sobeys in Woodstock, New Brunswick. She was very involved within the community serving as past president of St. Joseph's Cemetery of the Newburg Catholic Church from 1988-2023 and was a member of the Board of Trustees of St Gertrudes Catholic Church.

In addition to her volunteer work, the most important thing in Hazel's life was her family. She also enjoyed spending the winter months in Florida, something that she did for the last 10 years in Seminole. While in Florida, Hazel loved to take part in most of the Park Activities such as playing cards and helping in the planning of park parties and gatherings.

Hazel is survived by her son William McCarron (Daphne) along with her 3 daughters Teresa Harris (Mike), Vickie Foster (Winston) and Susan McCarron. In addition, she is also survived by her grandchildren; Joshua Giggie (Briana Millie), Laura Giggie, Larren Harris (Adam LeBlanc), Matthew Foster, Timothy Foster (Melissa), Tessa McCarron, Alex Giggie (Paige Stevenson) and William McCarron (Sarah) along with her great granddaughter Norah Hazel Giggie. Sister Jane Bartlett (Muldrew).

In addition to her parents, Hazel is predeceased by her husband William Charles McCarron and siblings Evelyn (Muldrew) Gilmour, William Muldrew, John Muldrew and James Muldrew.

There will be a visitation on Thursday December 14, 2023 from 12:00PM to 1:45PM at Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB, Funeral Service will directly follow at 2PM in the chapel.

There will be a reception fallowing the service at the St. Gertrude's Church Hall from 3:00 to 4:30 PM

Memorial donations towards St. Joseph's Cemetery Fund or a charity of your choice, would be greatly appreciated.
