Obituary

Harold William Baker passed away on May 18, 2005 at the Central Carleton Nursing Home in Hartland NB at the age of 91. Born on March 28, 1914 in Birmingham England to the late Francis and Florence (Fulwell) Baker. Harold is survived by four sons and two daughter; Hollis (Lois) Morrell Siding NB, Ilene (Floyd) Henry Simonds NB, Dalton Mississauga On, Ray (Fern) Arthur On, Paul Arthur On, Paulette (Ben) Rynsoever Arthur On, fifteen grandchildren, thirty-six great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Harold was predeceased by the children's mother Dora Faye (Peterson), and sister Eileen (Quiney). Harold served in the North Shore Regiment during the Second World War in Italy, France and Holland. Visitation for Harold will be held on Friday May 20 from 2-4 and 7-9 at the Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville. Family graveside service will be held at Lower Simonds Cemetery with Rev. Deon Malloy officiating on Saturday May 21 at 1PM. As of expression of sympathy donation may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to Carleton Funeral Home Jacksonville.
