Halden Dean Bradley (also known as Dusty) always said "Never say good-bye" so it is with broken hearts that we bid him farewell but not good-bye. Halden was born on January 6, 1934, and passed away on March 18, 2014, at the age of 80.

Halden lived his entire life in Hartland. He has worked on local farms, on the construction of the Hugh John Flemming Bridge and the old Hartland High School. He worked at Day & Ross (driver and warehouse foreman) and he run the drill at Craig's Machine Shop. He enjoyed bowling on the men's and mixed leagues for many years. One of his favorite things to do was to go for long country drives. He liked playing cards and enjoyed a good game of pool. But more than anything else, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Not only did he love them, he made sure they knew it because he told them often. His hugs will be missed by many. He was liked and respected by just about everyone he met. We have been blessed because God allowed Halden to be a part of our lives and we are very thankful for all the memories we have to hold onto.

Halden felt the pain of losing his parents Hughie and Velma (nee Harrington) Bradley, his son Larry Bradley in 2005, his great-granddaughter Madison Bradley in 2009, and many family and friends.

Although he will be greatly missed, his love will always be treasured by his wife Irene (nee Hamilton) Bradley, daughter Charlotte (John) O'Neill of Lower Kingsclear, daughter-in-law Bonnie Bradley of Hartland, 6 grandchildren (and 5 great-grandchildren) ... Christopher O'Neill (daughter Samantha Peterson and son Ryan O'Neill) of Lower Kingsclear ... Scott (Christy) O'Neill (sons Chase and Kyle) of Enfield, NS ... Jimmy (Crystal) Bradley of Hartland ... Janice O'Neill of Dieppe ... Michael Bradley (son Larry) of Hartland ... and Amy (Jonathan) Geddes of Fredericton. He will also be remembered and missed by his special niece Shirley (Frank) Brown, his in-laws Doris Laskey, Walter (June) Hamilton, his many nieces and nephews and many many friends.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB on Thursday, March 20, 2014 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21, 2014 from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM with Pastor Marc Doiron officiating. Interment will be held in the Greenwood Cemetery at a later date.

Memorial donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Lung Association or to a memorial of the donor's choice.
