With heavy hearts the family of Gwendolyn A. Belyea wife of the late Basil Belyea announces her passing on Monday, June 4, 2018 at The Carleton Manor Woodstock NB. Born April 9, 1933 in Grafton NB she was a daughter of the late Perry and Vita (Thornton) Thornton.

Gwendolyn is survived by her children, sons, Lorne (Katie), Brent, daughters, Deborah Gallant (Allan), Sandra Love (Danny) all of Woodstock NB, grandchildren, Jonathan Yerxa (Opalee), Lori Yerxa (Mike), Tracey Demerchant (Danny), William Belyea (Vanessa), Jennifer Belyea, Sara Bourgoin (Eric), Karyn Lunnie (Jason), Joey Love (Allie), Ryan Belyea (Angel), Peter Belyea (Amanda), twenty four great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband and parents Gwen was predeceased by her son, Blair, daughter in law Audrey Belyea, brothers, Lorne Thornton, Guy Thornton (Joan), sisters, Verna McGann (Charles) and Glenna McLaughlin (Thomas).

By request there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB on Friday, June 8, 2018 at 2 PM. Interment will be held in the Grafton Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Carleton Manor Foundation, the Canadian Red Cross or to memorial of the donor's choice.
