Gordon Reginald Wort, 84, Woodstock, NB, passed away on Sunday, April 29, 2007 at the Carleton Memorial Hospital, Woodstock, NB. Gordon was born in Woodstock, NB on November 17, 1922, son of the late Daniel and Annie (Monteith) Wort. Gordon is survived by his wife Alta (Anderson) Wort, Woodstock, NB, children; Norma Jane London (Eric), Woodstock, NB, Maria Greer (Bee Be) (Vaughn), Jacksontown, NB, Albert (Burt) Sue, Edmonton, Alberta; Robert, Woodstock, NB, grandchildren: Pamela Copland (Miles), Annette Greer, Carrie Watson (Darren), four great-grandchildren: Kyle Watson, Benjamin Watson, Chase Copeland and Tristan Paul; several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents, Gordon was predeceased by his sisters: Dorothy, Ruth, Georgie, Helen, Annie and Jennie; brothers Donald and Allan. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 1, 2007 at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville, NB, from 2 to 4 and 7to 9. A grave side committal service will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at the Methodist Cemetery Woodstock, NB, at 2 PM.
