The death of Gordon Andrew Kilpatrick of Debec, loving husband of Carolyn (Rogers) Kilpatrick, happened at the Upper River Valley Hospital on Wednesday, July 21, 2010. He was 74. Gordon was a sales rep for Baxter Dairies and was Wesleyan by faith. Gordon is survived by; his wife Carolyn; daughter Andrea Parish(Fred) of Grafton; son Chris of Woodstock; grandson Alexander Gordon Parish; sisters Arselie, Una and Yvonne, all in BC; and several nieces and nephews. Gordon was predeceased by his parents, John and Julia (Downey) Kilpatrick, and his brother Floyd. Visitation will be from Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Rd, Jacksonville, from 7-9 pm on Friday July 23, 2010. A funeral service will be held at the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel on Saturday, July 24 at 1:00 pm with Rev. Dale MacDonald officiating. Pallbearers will be Rob, Ross, and Steve Rogers, Brent, Ricky and Danny Crandlemire. Lending their musical talents in tribute to Gordon will be Norma Jewett as soloist and Tami Mutch-Ketch as pianist. The eulogy will be given by Sheila Rogers. Interment will be in the Kirk Cemetery.
