Goldie Evelyn (Harris) Stewart-Plante of Woodstock, NB passed away peacefully on March 20, 2023 at the age of 87, after a brief illness. She was born on November 28, 1935. An avid quilter, gardener, and reader, Goldie was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother and was loved by everyone who knew her.

Goldie is survived by her devoted husband, George Plante; children Nina, Rick, Laurie (Jim), and Bobbie (Rob) Stewart, and grandchildren Cervid, Piper, and Briar Anderson; sisters Ruby Hiltz and Hildred Flewelling, and brothers David (Elva), and Donald (Roma) Harris; and her many nieces and nephews and their children.

Besides her parents, Nina (Cunningham) and Richard Harris, Goldie is predeceased by her first husband, Dave Stewart; a brother, Charles Harris; and sisters Maude Fox and Jean Brown.

Her family would like to thank the doctors and nurses of Upper River Valley Hospital for their kindness. Goldie will be deeply missed by her numerous friends and family, and her friends at the Royal Canadian Legion Woodstock Branch No 11, where she volunteered for many years.

There will be no public visitation or funeral service at this time.
