Glenn Frederick
Stuckless
June 3, 1968 – March 27, 2024
It is with broken hearts and much sadness that we announce the death of Glenn Frederick Stuckless, of Wilmot on Wednesday March 27, 2024, peacefully at the Upper River Valley Hospital at the age of 55.
On June 3rd, 1968 Glenn was born to Kathleen (Peyton) Stuckless and Frederick Stuckless in Botwood, Newfoundland. Being the only child, he was the light of their lives and thrived in their loving home. His Parents raised Glenn in their Christian home. He learned to play instruments through the Salvation Army band and the word of God at the church. His friendship with his life-long friend, Perry Linthrorne, began at church.
Glenn loved his life and had many passions. The first being his wife, Susan (Lawrence) Stuckless of 29 years, his daughters Paige Stuckless and Taylor Stuckless. He is also survived by his Father in Law, Neil Lawrence, like a brother, (cousin) Darren (Debbie) Peyton and fishing buddy Sheldon (JoAnn) Boone as well as many extended family and friends. Besides his parents, Glenn was also predeceased by his mother-in-law Nellie Lawrence.
Glenn was a cook, truck driver, delivery driver, Kent employee, poker player, carpenter, hunter, fisherman and loved to build remote control planes. He had a zest for life that impacted all around him. He was a friend to all and would bond over a smoke anywhere. He was not shy and showed his Newfie personality everywhere he went. That's why he was called "Newf" by his friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday March 31. 2024 at Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville from 5 to 8 PM.
