It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Glenda Rose (Reid) Dymond of Woodstock on Tuesday, November 12, 2024, at the Carleton Manor at the age of 83. Glenda was born in Woodstock, NB, on September 25, 1941, to the late Alvin and Velma (Hartley) Reid.

Glenda is survived by her two daughters, Darla Cheney (Guy), and Sheri Dymond (Andy), her sister, Patricia Reid, grandchildren, Aaron Cheney (Sara), Heidi Bubar (Matthew), Marci Cheney (Nick), Kyli Cheney (Carlos), Jamin Cheney (Caroline), great grandchildren, Addy, Jayde, Myka, Dottie, Thea, Owen, Easton, Bella, Flora and Baby Boy to Be, along with many nieces and nephews, as well as her dear friend, Myrna Keenan, and brother, Alvin.

In addition to her parents, Glenda was predeceased by brothers, Henry and Gerand, as well as sisters, Yvette and Vella.

Mom was an outdoor enthusiast who loved to hike, bike climb mountains, picnic in the field, camp year-round in any weather, snowshoe, and ski. She had an eye for fashion, which showed in her colorful outfits, with the jewellery and bright colour hair always matching.

The Carleton Manor was where she received excellent care from their amazing staff. Everyone treated her like family, and you could tell that she appreciated the above and beyond care of her daily needs.

The family would like to take this opportunity to thank Carleton Manor for making it feel like her home away from home. Their support and attention to the little things did not go unnoticed.

In keeping with Glenda's wishes, a private family service will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, from Carleton Funeral Home.
