It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Gertrude Elizabeth (Jenkins) MacKenzie of Rosedale NB, on Thursday February 8, 2024, at the Hotel Dieu St Joseph hospital in Perth NB at the age of 83.

Gertrude was born in Plaster Rock NB on February 18, 1940, to the late Walter and Olive (Shannon) Jenkins.

Gertrude is survived by her children, Laura (Angie) Clark, Richard Parish, Bridgette Carten, Jackie (Leonce) Parish, Michael Parish grand children Nicole (Kenny) Chiasson, Michelle Carten, Albert (anna ) Clark, Amanda Carten, R J (Dakota) Parish, Steven (Jessica) Parish, Jonnie-Marie Weeks, great grandchildren Alexander Deleavey, Olivia Stokes, Pria Weeks, John Weeks, Jaxon Carten-Harnish, Aria Weeks, Arianna Parish, Mackenzie Parish, Benjamin Trecartin, sisters, Mary Toner, Jean Campbell, and Elizabeth (Al) Cote, Nieces, Nephews and extended family.

Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Harrison MacKenzie, siblings,

A graveside service will be held at the Lower Brighton Cemetery, at a later date.
