It is with sadness that we announce the passing of Gerladine Estella Crandlemire on May 29, 2026, at Central |Carleton Nursing Home in Hartland NB.

Geraldine was born in Cloverdale NB on April 2, 1935, she was the daughter of the late Linus and Thelma (Chute) Crabbe.

Geraldine is survived by sisters, Edith Newman, Uda McIntosh, and Kerry (Haldean) Palmer, sister-in-law Elaine Crabbe, brother Blair Crabbe, brother-in-law Joe Jurczak, stepchildren, Sharon (James) O’Regan, Carvell (Sharon) Crandlemire, Gaynell (Rodney) Long, several Nieces, Nephews, several Step Grandchildren, great Grandchildren, and great, great Grandchildren.

Besides her parents, Gerladine was predeceased by her first husband Eugene Belyea, second husband Stanley Crandlemire, sisters, Jean Dow, Juanita Hallett, Doris Jurczak, brothers, Lyman (Ruby)Crabbe, Royden Crabbe, brothers-in-law Robert McIntosh, Paul Newman, Wendell Dow, Malcolm Hallett.

Geraldine was a woman of many talents which kept her hands busy and heart happy. There was always a project in progress-quilting, knitting, embroidering, sewing, baking, cooking and much more. Always willing to lend a helping hand, she was a patient, kind and caring friend to many, with a faith in the lord that was firm and strong. She will be greatly missed by her family, friends and community.

Visitation will be held at Carleton Funeral Home on Tuesday June 2, 2026, from 12 to 2PM. Funeral Service will follow directly after in the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will take place in the Greenwood Cemetery Hartland.

If so desired, donations can be made to Mount Pleasant Community Hall or Greenwood Cemetery in Geraldine’s memory.
