It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Gerald James Johnston age 82 of McKenna NB at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville on September 1, 2021.

Gerald was born October 11, 1938 to the late Edgar and Sadie (Frame) Johnston in McKenna NB.

Gerald is survived by his wife Dianne, daughter Jackie (Harley), sons Marty (Ellen) and Sam (Marg), along with several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He is also survived by brothers, Leo, Richard (Gail), Don (Betty) and Ray (Mary), Several Niece s, Nephews and Cousins.

Besides his parents, Gerald was predeceased by infant son Peter, daughter Katherine Kent and son Ronald Gerald.

By request, there will be no public visitation, a private Family graveside service will be held at the Pembroke Cemetery with Pastor Carl O'Donnell.

If so desired, donations to the Pembroke Baptist Church would be appreciated by the family.
