George Franklin Rideout, 93, of MacKenzie Corner, NB passed away on Monday, October 1, 2013 at the Upper River Valley Hospital Waterville, NB. George was born in Glassville, NB on October 11, 1919, son of the late Albert and Bessie (Clark) Rideout.

George is survived by his special friend; Shirley MacDonald, children; Eldon Rideout (Carol), Stanley Rideout (Nancy), Gerald Rideout (Mary Faith), Joy Biggar, Carl Rideout (Natalie), grandchildren; Philip (Mary), Laurie McAuley (Robert), Barbara Pond (Andrew), Carrie McLean (Scott), Kathleen Simonds (Derek), Benjamin Rideout, Sarah Furge, Amanda (Jeremy),Richard, Adam Furge, Marlee Rideout, great grandchildren; Michael, Rachel, Elizabeth, Kyle, Lydia, Rebecca, Jasmine nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents; George was predeceased by his wife; Inez (Davenport), granddaughter; Emma, three brothers and eight sisters.

George was the last surviving member of his immediate family.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Thursday, October 3 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Friday, October 4 from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM. Interment will be held in MacKenzie Corner Baptist Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a memorial of the donor's choice.
