The Passing of George John Murray McGuire of Woodstock NB occurred on Monday October 12 2015 at the Carleton Manor with his family by his side. George was born June 24, 1939 at Wakefield NB to the late Samuel and Rose (Taylor) McGuire.

He is survived by his wife Sylvia (Brown) McGuire, daughters, Heather Taylor , Lois McLellan (Chris) , Bev Smith (Arthur) , Brenda Nicholson (Randy) , grandchildren, Todd, Bill, Ryan, Corey, Katie, Heidi, Tim, Ashley, Samantha, Chelsey, Brittany, fifteen great grandchildren, a sister , Nina Clark  and several  nieces , nephews and cousins .

Besides his parents he was predeceased by a brother, Clair McGuire and a son-in –law, Bill Taylor.

Resting at the Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB where friends may call on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 7-9 pm and Wednesday, October 14, 2015 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. Funeral service will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, October 15, 2015 from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in the Wakefield Cemetery.
