It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Garland Eugene Veysey of Hanwell NB on Sunday November 3, 2024, at the DECH in Fredericton at the age of 70.

Garland was born in Fosterville on November 21, 1953, to the late Arnold and Myrna (Fish) Veysey.

Garland is survived by his daughter, Jody Hickey, sons, Corey DeMerchant and Anthony Veysey, Grandchildren, Faith Hickey, Reid Boudreau, Isabelle Boudreau, Arnold Veysey, Kristen Veysey, Casey DeMerchant, Riley DeMerchant, Samantha Tomah, Whelan Veysey, Great Grandchildren, Drew Mason, Lindsay Mason,  Rachel Mason, Dexter Veysey, Ryder Veysey, Dante Veysey, Aria Veysey, Alexis Veysey, Vivian Veysey, Jackson Veysey, Mathais Veysey, T.J. Carmen, Harlo Profit, Ella Profit, Ethan Profit, Brothers Clayton (Darlene) Veysey, Terry (Cathy) Veysey,and Earnest Veysey, an Aunt Carlene and  special friends Carolyn Lewis and Peggy Veysey.

Besides his parents, Garland was predeceased by a brother Gary Veysey.

Keeping with Garland's wishes there will not be any visitation or funeral service.

A  graveside service Thursday at 2PM will take place at the Lower Fosterville Cemetery.

Donations can be made to a charity of the donors' choice.
