With great sadness, and many fond memories, we announce the passing of Frederick William Keilty on March 1, 2026.

Fred will be remembered as the kind of man who showed up — for his family, his friends, and his community.

He spent his life in Woodstock and rarely went anywhere without stopping to visit, chat, and share a story or two. Over the years, he built many close and lasting relationships through his work with the school district and NBCC. Fred was a kind soul, always willing to lend a hand or share his vast knowledge on any project.

One of his greatest sources of pride was being "Grampie" to his beloved grandsons, Jacob and Isaac.

In recent years, he faced significant health challenges. Through it all, his family remained by his side with unwavering love and hope.

He is survived by his children, Lindsey Bunin (Mike) and Stuart Keilty (Ian); grandchildren Jacob and Isaac; his mother, Patricia Keilty; his siblings, Dick Keilty (Sally), Carolyn Keilty Cormier (Terry), Anne Ketch (Jerry), and Joe Keilty (Rachael); as well as his many nieces and nephews.

He was predeceased by his father, Richard Keilty.

A private memorial service will take place at a future date.
