It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Freda Ruby (Carpenter) Wilson, on Sunday September 17, 2023, at Carleton Manor in Woodstock at the age of 90.

Freda was born in Richmond Corner on October 3, 1932, to the late Guy Ruben and Mildred (Gartley) Carpenter.

She is survived by her son Ricky (Lisa), Grandchildren Matthew (Suzanne), Chelsea (Nick), Great Grandchildren Eleanor, Felix, Deacon, Claire, Ella and Jaxson. Brothers Lawrence and Ralph (Rosanne) along with several Nieces and Nephews.

Besides her parents, Freda was predeceased by her husband William (Bill) Wilson in 2017.

Bill and Freda were well known in Woodstock for Wilson's Restaurant that they ran for several years, Freda was a member of St Luke's Anglican Church and worked as a bookkeeper for many years.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday September 20th from Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB from 7 to 9 PM.

Service will be held on Thursday September 21st from St Luke's Anglican Church at 2PM, Interment will follow at Christ Church Cemetery Lower Woodstock.

If so desired, donations to St Luke's Anglican Church or to a memorial of the Donors choice would be appreciated by the family.

The family would like to thank the staff at Riverside Court and Carleton Manor for the excellent care Freda received and the wonderful support to the family while Freda was a guest at both places.
