It is with much sadness that we announce the sudden death of Franklin (Frank) John Brown of Wakefield at his residence at the age of 73.

Frank was born on September 26, 1950, in Woodstock NB to the late Wendell of Avondale and Josephine (O'Donnell) Brown of Johnsville.

Frank is survived by his children.

Son(s) Christopher (Kathy) Brown, James Brown. Daughter Kimberly Newcombe.

Grandchildren: Shane Grey, Trenton Brown, Kiara Brown, Phoenix Ginson-Brown, Maddox Ginson-Brown, Addie Brown, Ryan Hathaway, Desiree (Casey)Foster, Brandi (Nathan)Sarchfield, Brittany (Jordan)Sharpe.

Great-Grandchildren: Quinn Briar Brown, Kyra Campbell, Brody Campbell.

Survived by his brother(s)

Robert (Maxine) Brown, Gordon Brown.

Nephew Matthew Brown and Niece Erin (Eric) Tompkins.

As well as many extended family and friends whom Frank loved very much.

Besides his parents, Frank was predeceased by his wife Shirley in April 2024, sister Cathy Brown in 1971 and son in law Colin Newcombe in 2021.

Visitation will be held on Monday June 17th from 5 to 8 PM at the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday June 19th at 11AM at the Waterville Baptist Cemetery.
