It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Floyd Aubery Davenport of Green Road NB on Saturday May 2, 2026, at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville at the age of 83.

Floyd was born February 27,1943 in Kintore NB to the late Daniel and Mamie (McLean) Davenport.

Floyd is survived by his wife, Marguerite (Craig), daughter Christine, sons Steven and Todd (Kim), grandchildren, Daniel, Evan, Chelsea, Shanon, Brandon, Jesse, Kevin, Sarah and Samantha, Twenty-Two Great Grandchildren, sister Inez, several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins.

Besides, his parents, Floyd was predeceased by his daughter Sherry, sisters, Anna, Margaret, Kathleen, Edith, Letha, Alta, Gertude, brothers, Willis, Danny and Raymond.

Floyd loved the outdoors, years ago Floyd worked in the woods with his horse, he also loved to fish, hunt and trap. He did work for Flemmings Mink Ranch for many years as one of his last jobs. Floyd love to tinker, and was very mechanical inclined, if it was fixable he would make it work again. He loved being able to work on someone’s vehicle for them. He also loved playing his guitar while listening to music. He would jam with family and friends in his or someone else’s kitchen and didn’t miss a music session at the community halls. Any get together was always a good music jamming session!

Keeping with Floyd’s wishes there will be no public visitation or funeral service. A graveside will be held on Saturday May 23rd at 2PM at the McKenzie Corner Baptist Cemetery.
