Evelyn Pearl McHatten, 99, of Woodstock NB passed away on Sunday, February 05, 2017 at the Upper River Valley Hospital Waterville NB. Evelyn was born in Wakefield NB on January 26, 1918 daughter of the late Roy and Pauline (Hamilton) Melvin.

Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Sharon Kirkpatrick (Ron), son, Greg McHatten (Laurie), grandchildren; Amber McHatten (Jeff), Cory McHatten (Melissa), Cindy Kirkpatrick, Kim Kirkpatrick, great grandchildren; Jessica Patterson, Ryan Patterson, Mya McHatten, Cage McHatten, sister, Virginia Brown, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, Evelyn was predeceased by her husband, Eldon, son, Lloyd, sisters; Alberta, Doris, Greta, Marie, Jean and infant brother, Lloyd.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB on Wednesday, February 8, 2017 from 7 PM to 9 PM. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM. Interment will be held in the Wakefield Baptist Cemetery at a later date.
