The death of Eula Etta (Carlisle) Tweedie wife of the late Maurice Tweedie occurred at the Riverview Manor Bath, NB on Sunday May 14, 2006 at the age of 83. Born in Summerfield, NB she was the daughter of the late Blair and Gertie (Brown) Carlisle. Eula is survived by her son Allan (Terry), Dixmont, ME, grandchildren Leslie, Mary Jo, Allana, Jamie, great grandchildren Amelia, Andrew, brothers: Theodore Carlisle, Toronto, ON, Merritt Carlisle, Summerfield, NB, aunt Genivive Wilson (Reid), St. John, NB, daughter in law Cathy (Tweedie) Taylor (David), Lori Ann Tweedie, several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Besides Eula's parents and husband she was predeceased by a son George, sisters: Shirley Parks, Mary Green and Hilda Clark. The family will receive visitors at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road on Tuesday May 16 from 3 to 7. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday May 17 at 1 PM from the Summerfield United Church with Rev. Michael Goodfellow officiating. As expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Canadian Cancer Society.
