Eugene Alfred Douglas Kennedy, 68, of McKenzie Corner NB passed away on Thursday, January 1, 2015 at the Upper River Valley Hospital Waterville NB. Eugene was born in Woodstock NB on February 23, 1946 son of the late Clayton and Kathleen (Strong) Kennedy.

Eugene is survived by his wife; Noreen (Colwell) Kennedy, children, Carl (Donna), Gina (Daryl McLaughlin), Mary (Neil Carr), Beth (Scott Paul), grandchildren; Cordell, Kyla, Alicia, Adam (Tricia), great grandchildren; Dawson and Lily.

Although Eugene was an only child he considered his cousins as siblings.

Eugene's most precious times were spent with his family and friends. He was often seen at his grandchildren's ball games and never refused anyone a challenge in a card game. We are sure that he is dancing with the angels that are with him.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Saturday, January 3, 2015 from 6 PM to 9 PM. Funeral service for Eugene will be held on Sunday, January 4, 2015 at 2 PM from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Greg Williams officiating. Interment will be in the McKenzie Corner Cemetery at a later date.
