It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Eugene "Bud" Hilton Delong, on Tuesday May 3, 2022 at the age of 95 at Shaw's Special Care Home in Waterville. Bud was born on October 18, 1926 to the late George and Francis (Rideout) Delong in Bristol NB. Bud worked for Rose Enterprise for many years in the potato house, picking princess pine and tips and he also worked in the woods cutting and selling logs and winter fire wood. He is survived by his sisters, Darlene Shaw (Clayton) and Marilyn Delong and Stepdaughter Margaret Forsythe and Step Daughter in law Helen Molson. Besides his parents Bud was predeceased by his siblings Ronald (Joyce), Lorraine –Joe (Monica), Ripley (Wanda), Helen Levesque (Lenard), Marie Robinson, Norma Brown (Doug) and Maxine Dyer (Weldon) and Step son Ron Molson. There will be a graveside service on Monday May 9, 2022 at 2PM at the Woodstock Rural Cemetery, Houlton Street, Woodstock NB with Pastor Murray Whitehouse.
