At the Carleton Manor on Tuesday, February 22, 2011 surrounded by her family, Ethel Rosalie (Hayward) MacMillan of Woodstock, NB , passed away.

She was born in England on January 6, 1925 to the late Jack and Ethel Hayward . She is survived by her children, Rosanne Carpenter (Ralph) Bellville, NB, Christine Rankin (Samuel) Woodstock, NB, Barry MacMillan, Moncton, NB Arthur MacMillan (Margaret) Halifax, NS Susan MacMillan (Bernie Keay) Halifax, NS , twelve grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one sister Dorothy Smeeton (Roger) England, one brother-in-law Ernest MacMillan, Miramichi, several cousins, nieces and nephews.  Besides her parents she was predeceased by her husband Cecil, a brother John and a sister Pat.

Resting at Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville, NB. where friends may call on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  Funeral service will be held on Thursday at 2 PM from St. John's Anglican Church, in Richmond Corner, NB with Greg Williams officiating, with a reception to follow in the Parish Center .Interment will be at a later date in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery. Expressions of sympathy may be made to St. James United Church, Carleton Manor Foundation, Parkinson Society or to a memorial of the donors choice.
