Esther Faye Tompkins, 89, of Lakeville NB passed away on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at the Doctor Everett Chalmers Hospital. Esther was born in Canterbury NB on May 14, 1928 daughter of the late Saunders and Gladys (Dow) Wright.

Esther is survived by her son, William Tompkins, daughters, Shirley Wilkinson, Bonnie Wright (Willard), Norma Kennedy (Cecil), several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides her parents, Esther was predeceased by her husband, Norman and daughters, Linda McCormack and Joyce Tompkins.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road on Friday, October 27, 2017 from 12 Noon to 2 PM. Funeral service will be held Friday at 2 PM from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Eldon Hicks officiating. Interment will be held in the Avondale Cemetery at a later date.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Avondale Cemetery Fund.
