Elizabeth (Ibby) Maude McKellar, age 88, went to be with her Lord on Sunday, December 18, 2016 at Carleton Manor Nursing Home Woodstock NB.

Elizabeth was born on January 29, 1928 in Waterville, NB to the late Donald Sr. and Agnes (Kimball) McKellar.  She was predeceased by her sister, Kathleen (Arthur) LaPorte and her brother Donald McKellar, Jr.  Elizabeth was the last surviving member of her immediate family.

Elizabeth will be greatly missed by her sister-in-law, Vicky McKellar, nieces Linda (Randy) MacFarlane and Maureen McKellar, nephews Donnie McKellar and Kevin (Lester Wood) McKellar.  She is also survived by great niece Margaret Elizabeth (Maggie) MacFarlane.

The family wishes to express their deep appreciation to neighbor Heather Sharpe for the kindness she showed to Elizabeth over the years.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 from 2:30 to 3:00. Funeral service in honor of Elizabeth will be held on Tuesday, December 20, 2016 at 3 PM from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be held in the Waterville Cemetery at a later date.

Elizabeth was an avid lover of all animals and as expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Carleton County Animal Shelter, DunRoamin Stray-Rescue, or any charity of the donor's choice.
