Obituary

It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Elizabeth "Ann" Leech on Saturday March 18, 2023, at Carleton Manor.

Ann was born in Woodstock, NB on November 24, 1937, to Walter and Elva (Ross) Neal.

Ann is survived by her daughter Heather Craig (Eugene), their children Julie and Amanda Craig, as well as her son Andrew Leech (Andrea), his children Matthew (Pauline), Joseph (Sarah), Chloe, Michael. Great grandchildren Benjamin, Hanna, Ruby, Audrey, and Oliver Leech. Her sisters-in-law Betty Neal of Oak Mountain and Agnes O'Neil Bowman of Calgary, AB; numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her parents Ann was predeceased by her husband George, brother Edgar Neal, brothers-in law Edward, Orlan, Stanley, Carl, Lorne Leech and sisters-in-law Shirley Prosser and Marie Page.

Ann was a life-long resident of Woodstock, in her youth Ann was a nationally ranked swimmer. Over the years she was very active with the Progressive Conservative Party, being the first woman to serve as the president for the local riding and held various roles. She belonged to the St. Paul's Presbyterian Church family and wa0073 a member of the guild. Ann enjoyed traveling to places such Arizona, Cuba, Hawaii, and a couple of especially memorable trips to Australia to visit her cousins.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday March 22, 2023, from 1-2 PM at the Carleton Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held directly following at 2PM in the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will be held at a later date At Kirk Cemetery.

If so desired, donations in Ann's memory can be made to Carleton Manor or St. Paul's Presbyterian Church.

There will be a reception held at St. Paul's Church following the service.
