Eldon Earl Colwell passed into the presence of his Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ on April 29 ^th , 2021, at the Fundy Nursing Home, in Blacks Harbour New Brunswick.

Eldon was born June 25, 1923 to the late James Earl and Gertrude (Cronkite) Colwell in Woodstock NB. Eldon is survived by his children Marie, Philip (Ann), Mark (Melanie), Matthew (Lorna), Step daughter Anita Calder and Step daughter in law Gail Calder. He is also survived by brothers Carl (Marilyn) and Neil (Pat), Sister in law Mona Colwell.

Eldon has many Grandchildren and great Grandchildren and several Nieces and Nephews and Cousins.

Besides his parents, Eldon was predeceased by his first wife Nellie and his second Gladys, son in law Noel Mitchell, step son in laws Denis Calder, grand son Andrew Mitchel, Sisters Joan Boyd, Eva Lloyd and a brother Lloyd Colwell.

Visitation will be held Sunday May 2 ^nd from 6 to 8 PM from the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB

Due to COVID 19 social distancing and masks are required, inside and outside at the funeral home.

Funeral service will be a private family only service on Monday; Interment will take place at the Kirk CemeteryNorthampton NB.

If lieu of flowers the family has requested donations be made to the White Head Baptist Church Mission, which Eldon started in 1969, or to NBBI.
