Elaine Cherlyne Grant

1946-2015

Cherie Grant (nee Adams), 68 , died peacefully at home surrounded by those closest to her heart, on April 22, 2015. Cherie was born on October 17 ^th , 1946 in Woodstock, New Brunswick to James and Mabel Adams. Cherie graduated from The Saint John General Hospital School of Nursing, class of 1967, after which she returned to Woodstock to raise her family. Nursing was her passion for nearly forty years and she touched the lives of many patients and families throughout her career.

Cherie is survived by her best friend and loving husband Terry, daughters Lori (Chris), Kelly (Chris) and son James as well as the 2 loves of her life, granddaughters Grace and Mya, nieces Teresa (Robert) and Lisa (Dave), nephew Earl (Sandra) and extended family.

Besides her parents, Cherie was predeceased by husbands William Clendenning and Darrell Cole, sisters Evelyn Martin and Aldene Cole and brother Vernon Adams.

Visitation will be held at the Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville, NB on Friday, April 24 ^th from 4-7 pm. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, April 26 ^th at 2 pm from the Woodstock Wesleyan Church, Pastor Dale MacDonald officiating.
