Edward Stanley Savage, 100, of Lakeville, NB, passed away at the Northern Carleton Hospital, Bath, NB. Edward was born in Summerfield, NB, August 11, 1906, son of the late Edward and Jane (Smith) Savage. Surviving is his wife Alta (Lunn) Savage, Lakeville, NB, children: Edward (Avis), Lakeville, NB, Gladwyn (Faye), Lakeville, NB, Noreen (Bob), Ontario, Diane, Nackawic, NB, Linda (Dwight), PEI, Christy (Anne), Lakeville, NB, Donald (Ferne), Lakeville, NB, 53 grand and great grand children, 1 great, great child, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Edward was the last surviving member of his family. Besides his parents, Edward was predeceased by two sisters Chavala, Mary and a brother Allen. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2006 at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville, NB from 3:30 to 5:30 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be on Thursday, December 14, 2006 from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM with Rev. Eldon Hicks officiating. Interment will be in the Williamstown Cemetery.
