It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Doreen Kay (Plant)Thomas of Oakland on October 17, 2023, at the Upper River Valley Hospital at the age of 67.

Doreen was born in Bath NB on November 12, 1955, to the late Harold and Grace (Getson) Plant.

She is survived by her daughter Tasha (Wayne) Miller, sisters Diane Plant, Cecelia Shaw (William), Linda Foster (Dale), Ada Plant, Vivian Fleet, brothers, Abram Plant (Ann-Marie), David Plant (Percy), Alan Plant, John Plant, Dale Plant, grandchildren Nathaniel Thomas, Kayla Miller, Justin Lenehan and Hailey White. Several Nieces, Nephews, and Cousins as well as best friend Susan Sheaves and Tasha's God Parents Donnie and Pauline Hillman.

Besides her parents, Doreen was predeceased by her son Nicholas Thomas, sisters Ruth Gilmore and Fay Cronkhite and brother-in-law Ed Fleish.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday October 21, 2023 at the Bloomfield Cemetery at 1PM.

Donations in Doreen's memory can be made to the River Valley Cancer Support Group or the Bloomfield Cemetery.
