BROOKS, Dennis W.-aka "Big D" or "Denny"- of Northampton NB, loving husband of 27 years to Darlene (Sproul) Brooks, passed away suddenly on June 27, 2010. Dennis is survived by; his wife Darlene; brothers Paul(Sandra) Brooks of Southampton, and LeRoy(Mary) Brooks of Halifax, NS; his sister Cheryl Dooley(Bob) of Fredericton;step-father Don Kerr; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Burtt and Christina (Cronkhite) Brooks, and nephew Justin Brooks. Dennis drove bus for over twenty years and enjoyed his job as well as the kids he came in contact with over that time. Visitation will be held from Carleton Funeral Home on Wednesday June 30 from 2-4 and 7-9. A funeral service will be held from Carleton Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, July 1 at 2:00 pm with Pastor Stephen Hoyt and Pastor Leonard Cousins officiating.
