Deborah Kathleen
Leavitt
November 12, 1966 – December 10, 2022
It is with profound sadness and broken hearts that we announce the passing of our dearest, Deborah Kathleen Leavitt of Woodstock, New Brunswick. Peacefully and beautifully on the River's Edge, with her beloved boyfriend, Michael Aubin by her side, On December 10, 2022, at the age of 56.
Deborah was born on November 12, 1966, in Black's Harbour, New Brunswick. She loved the water and enjoyed spending time at the beach. She would often dig clams in the Bay of Fundy. Debbie had a passion for fashion and liked to sew and design her own clothes. She prioritized spending time with her son, his wife, and her five granddaughters. Debbie loved her grandchildren more than anything. They were her pride and joy. Debbie was a free spirit who loved to laugh and always spoke her mind. She battled kidney disease most of her life. Debbie was a true fighter, and she will be remembered as one.
Deborah is survived by her loving partner, Michael Aubin, of Fredericton, NB; her son, Ryan (Sarah) Ginson, of Woodstock, NB, and their five daughters; Gracie, Destiny, Jasmine, Adrienne, and Cecilia; her parents, Lewis and Kathleen Seeley, of Burtt's Corner, NB; Three brothers; Herbie (Tanya) Leavitt, of Pennfield, NB, Timothy Leavitt of Utopia, NB, and Johnny Leavitt, of St. George, NB; Two sisters, Bonita (Bill) Beney of Utopia, NB, and Lisa (John) Bradley of Barnesville, NB; and many nieces and nephews. Deborah was predeceased by her brother, Christopher Seeley and by her grandparents Morris and Thelma Hanley and Guy and Pearl Seeley.
Our sincerest gratitude goes out to the staff of the dialysis unit of the Upper River Valley Hospital who provided care to Deborah over the years.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 13th at the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, December 14th at the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2:00 pm with Pastor Bill Gowan officiating.
Interment will be held in the Spring.
In Deborah's memory, donations to the Kidney Foundation of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
Arrangements are under the care and direction of Carleton Funeral Home.
