Extending sympathy to the family of David John Phillips of Glassville, who passed away at his residence on Friday April 17, 2026, at the age of 71.

David was born in North Bay Ontario on September 28, 1954, to the late Robert D and Muriel F (Sewell) Phillips.

David is survived by his sister Sandra Foren (Tony), brothers Wayne Phillips, Loren Phillips (Leslie) and Eldon Phillips, nieces and nephews.

Besides his parents David was predeceased by a sister Brenda White and brother Stephen Phillips, niece Heather White, nephew Michael White

David loved nature, he enjoyed hunting and fishing and made his career working in the woods. Over the years David worked cutting logs for Fred Harvey, he also worked for Mitchell Corey at Glassville Logging, He would go ahead of the slasher and cut the trees down that were too big for the slasher to cut, he had great chainsaw skills.

Respecting David's wishes there will be no visitation or funeral service. Interment will take place at the Wharton Cemetery at a later date.
