David Alton DeLong, 84, of Woodstock, NB, passed away on Friday, November 30, 2012 at the Upper River Valley Hospital, Waterville, NB. David was born in St. Thomas, NB on September 17, 1928 son of the late William and Cora (Miller) DeLong.

David is survived by his wife; Jennifer (Teear) DeLong, Woodstock, NB, sons; David DeLong, Woodstock, NB, Terry DeLong (Karen), Jacksonville, NB, Jerry DeLong (Susan), Whitehead, NS, grandchildren; Tyler, Nicholas, Jason, Shane, great grandchildren; Logan, Catlin, Katlin, Emily, Hayden, sisters; Geraldine Hennessy, London, ON, Mary Jovichevich, London, ON, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, David was predeceased by his wife; Faye (Thornton), brothers; Oran Delong, Leo DeLong, sister, Pearl Ogden.

By request there will be no visitation. Funeral service will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 1 PM. Interment will be held in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to a memorial of the donor's choice.
