Darlene Audrey Palmer

It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Darlene Audrey (Daniels) Palmer of Maplewood on Monday August 3, 2026, at Carleton Manor at the age of 80.

Darlene was born in Campbell Settlement of October 7, 1945, to the late G. Neil and Margaret (Stairs) Daniels.

Darlene is survived by her children Nelson (Francine), Scott and Rhonda, grandchildren, Bret and Marius, sister Sherril (Bill) Lindsay, sisters-in-law Judy Daniels, Inez Sarchfield, Carol Palmer, Patricia Palmer and Annie Carpenter, brothers-in-law, Larry (Elaine) Palmer, Haldean (Kerry) Palmer, Gary (Deborah) Palmer, George Palmer, Franklin Palmer, several Nieces, Nephews and Cousins and special friend Juanita Nicholson.

Besides her parents Darlene was predeceased by her husband Frank Palmer, brothers, Vincent and Dale Daniels, brother-in-law, John Palmer, Reginald Palmer, Joe Palmer, Norman Palmer, Weldon Palmer and sister-in-law Rita Morehouse.

Darlene worked for many years in Fredericton at a law firm, she enjoyed watching the game shows and picking potatoes. Darlene spent the last year and half at Carleton Manor and the family would like to thank the staff for their exceptional care.

Visitation will be held on Thursday August 6, 2026, at Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville from 5 to 7 PM.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, August 7, 2026, at 2PM from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will follow at the Hawkins Corner Cemetery.
