It is with much sadness that we announce the sudden death of Dale Opal (Miller) Grant of Canterbury, on Tuesday September 17, 2024, at her residence.

Dale was born on August 9, 1945, to the late Wilmot and Effie (Mae) Miller in Avondale NB.

Survived by her daughter Cheryl (Ricky) Bishop, sons, Peter ( Jenise) Grant, Sam (Bobbi) Grant, Joey (Xylia) Grant, Grandchildren, Matthew Bishop ( Kat Darling), Amy (Morgan) Carrell, Jessica (Nick) Dube, Nicholas Bishop, Danielle Bishop ( Tanner Morris), Alexandria Grant, David (Bethany ) Grant, Jonah Grant, Devon Grant, Adam Grant, Daniel Grant,Cameron Grant,  Great Grandchildren, Sophia, Chloe, Ronan, Dennah, Serenity, Waylon, Hunter, Sisters, Jean Miller, Dorothy Tompkins, Myrna Tompkins, brothers, Ross Miller, Ebbie Miller, Several Nieces, Nephews and extended family and friends.

Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Melvin Grant, great grandson Logan Bishop, sisters Ola Miller and Margaret Tompkins.

In keeping with Dale's wishes there will not be public visitation.

A graveside service will be held at the Canterbury Community Cemetery on Friday September 20, 2024, at 3PM.

If so desired, donations can be made to Canterbury Fire Department or Canterbury EMT Ambulance Service.
