Cyril Granvill Stairs' Obituary
Cyril Granvill Stairs, 80, of East Newbridge NB passed away at his residence on Thursday, July 7, 2016. Cyril was born in South Newbridge NB on May 13, 1936 son of the late Stanley and Isabell (Turner) Stairs.
Cyril is survived by his sons, Richard Stairs (Kay), Stephen Stairs (Joyce), Christopher Stairs (Kim), daughter, Cheryl Rogers (Allan), several grand and great grandchildren, brother, Stanley Stairs, sisters, Marie McLaughlin, Marion Johnston, several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Besides his parents, Cyril was predeceased by his wife, Jacqueline (Campbell) Stairs, son, Karl Stairs, brothers, Bartlet, Garnet and Ezra.
Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home & Crematorium 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Monday, July 11, 2016 from 6 PM to 9 PM. Funeral service for Cyril will be held on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM. Interment will be held in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.
As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to a memorial of the donor's choice.
