Colby Ray Cummings, 87, of Woodstock NB passed away on Thursday, May 11, 2017 at The Carleton Manor Nursing Home. Colby was born in Southampton NB on September 29, 1929 son of the late Smith and Verna (Patterson) Cummings.

Colby is survived by his wife, Audrey (Christie) Cummings; daughter, Kelly Cummings-Brown (Norm); son, Kevin Cummings (Shelly); grandchildren, Kristy Brown, Keith Brown, Michelle Guest (Mark), Shaun Cummings (Stephanie); great grandchildren, Briella, Elliot, brothers, Glen Cummings, Malcolm Cummings; nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents, Colby was predeceased by sisters, Vera, Marie, brothers, Hazen, Clifton, Hayward, and Edison.

By request there will be no visitation. Funeral service for Colby will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at 2 PM. Interment will be held in the Woodstock Rural Cemetery.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Carleton County Animal Shelter or to the Woodstock Baptist Church Building Fund.
