Clifton Albert Billings, 93, of Centreville, NB, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, 2012 at the Upper River Valley Hospital Waterville, NB. Clifton was born in Cloverdale, NB on November 27, 1919, son of the late John and Tola (Good) Billings.

Clifton is survived by his wife; Irma (Henderson) Billings, Centreville, NB, daughter; Barbara Crandlemire (Darrell), Lakeville, NB sons; Ross Billings (Beverly), Centreville, NB, Dana Billings, Centreville, NB, six grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, sister;  Berniece Stewart, Ashland, NB, Joyce Elmhirst, London, ON, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Besides his parents; Clifton was predeceased by two brothers; Donald Billings, George Billings, sisters; Mary Sloan and Alice Orser.

Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville on Friday, December 14 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 15 from The Carleton Funeral home Chapel at 10:30 AM. Interment will be held at later date in the Greenwood Cemetery, Hartland.

Members of the Royal Canadian Legion are asked to assemble at the funeral home on Friday evening at 6:30, for a Veterans' Service.

As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or to a memorial of the donor's choice.
