It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Clayton Austin Sewell, 89 of Woodstock at the Upper River Valley Hospital on Sunday August 29, 2021.

Clayton was born in Pembroke NB on November 24, 1931 to the late Clarence and Ethel (Dickinson) Sewell.

He is survived by his wife Beryl (McCarty) Sewell, daughters Barbara (Neil) Cronkite, Darlene Carvell, Janet Hawkins and son James (Mary), several grandchildren, great grandchildren , nieces, nephews and cousins.

Clayton is also survived by a sister, Deborah (Tony) Allan and a brother Allison Sewell.

Besides his parents, Clayton was predeceased by his first wife Dorothy Jean (Smyth), son in law B rent Hawkins, Sisters, Marina, Beatrice, Inez, Gail, brothers, Clarence and Larry.

Visitation will be held at the Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB, on Tuesday, August 31, 2021 from 7 to 9 PM .

Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday September 1 at 2PM from the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will be held at the Pembroke Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kidney Foundation, Heart and Stroke, Diabetics Society or a memorial of the donor's choice.

The Family have requested wearing masks for visitation and funeral service.
