Clara Ruth Jordan, 94, of Jacksonville, NB, passed away on Saturday, May 10, 2008 at the Upper River Valley Hospital. Clara was born in Armond, NB, on October 30, 1913, daughter of the late Robert and Florence (Doherty) Brewster. Clara is survived by her children; Marion Cougle, Jacksonville, NB, Ernie Jordan (Ella), Coldstream, NB, Eunice Sherwood, Woodstock, NB, Helen Shaw (Norman), Jacksonville, NB, Alice Giberson (Walter), Fielding, NB, Edna Davis, Jacksonville, NB, Gerald Jordan (Barbara), Juniper, NB, 27 grandchildren, 35, great grandchildren, sisters, Edna Lesvesque, Houlton, Maine, Wilma Orser, Woodstock, NB, Mildred Wills, Coldstream, NB, brothers, Vernon Brewster, Woodstock, NB, Wilber Brewster, Michigan, several nieces, nephews and cousins. Besides her parents, Clara was predeceased by her husband, William, brothers, Myles, George, William, Harold, Cecil, Gordon, Clarence, Ernest and a sister, Florence. Visitation will be held at The Carleton Funeral Home 337 Lockhart Mill Road Jacksonville NB on Sunday, May 11, 2008 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9. Funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12, 2008 from The Carleton Funeral Home Chapel at 2 PM with Rev. Craig Sully officiating. Interment will be in the Argyle Cemetery.
