Christopher Paul Sacobie passed away suddenly in Edmonton, Alberta January 2, 2026.

Born on December 14, 1974, Chris, grew up in Woodstock, NB and later travelled with his family to army bases across Canada. He graduated from Crocus Plains High School in Brandon, Manitoba and then went on and obtained a degree in Political Science from Brandon University. He later moved to Edmonton, Alberta and switched careers and was working towards his Red Seal Certification as a Millwright. Survived by partner Tracy Paul, his parents Donna and Phil Fader, his sister Cheryl, brother Nick(Yvonne) as well as his nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his grandparents Ann and Donald Sacobie and Bert and Freda Fader. All family members are from the Woodstock First Nation.

Keeping with Chris' wishes, there will be no public visitation or funeral service. A private service will be held at a later date.
