It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Charles William Hamilton, Jacksonville on Tuesday July 2, 2026, at the Upper River Valley Hospital at the age of 77.

Charles was born in Upper Woodstock on September 5, 1948, to the late William and Charlotte (Button) Hamilton.

He is survived by his children, Nancy Anderson (Jason), Carrie Harris (Andrew), Jason Hamilton, Nicholas Hamilton, Crystal Kidney (Jason), Jody Hamilton, Chelsey Lawrence (John), grandchildren, Jarret and Kayla Harris, Shawn, Brandon, Evan Anderson, Marlee Kidney, Lilly, Addelyn Lawrence, Jamie Lynn and Lila Mae Hamilton.

Besides, his parents he was also predeceased by his wife Joyce (Lunn) and sister Florence Hamilton.

Visitation will be held on Monday July 6, 2026, from Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville from 1 to 3PM.

Funeral Service will be held directly following at 3PM in the Carleton Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will be at the Upper Woodstock Cemetery.
