With great sadness we announce the passing of Carolyn Ann (Parker) Cumberland at the Upper River Valley Hospital in Waterville on Thursday November 7, 2024, at the age of 82.

Carolyn was born in Woodstock NB to the late Lloyd and Verna (Cole) Parker on July 21, 1942.

Carolyn is survived by two sisters, Sandra and Janice, her children, Chris (Sue), Shelly (Jack), Kim (Stephen) and Dwane, Grandchildren, Jana (Darren), Lindsey (AJ), Joey (Shanna), Jessica (Dave), Joshua (Amanda), Grandchildren, Allen, Emi, Reagan, Justice, Haylee, Kennedy, Zachary, Ryder, Lukas and Nolan.

Carolyn was predeceased by her husband, Ken Cumberland, and grandson David.

Carolyn and Ken both were avid lovers of harness racing, having both owned and trained horses at Woodstock raceway for decades.

Even with declining health this summer, Carolyn still went to see the races almost every weekend.

She was dearly loved and will be missed always, forever in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers a donation to the Canadian Lung Association would be appreciated if so desired.

Keeping with Carolyn's wishes, there will not be a visitation or funeral service. A private family interment will take place at Kirk Cemetery.
