It is with sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Elizabeth Allain, age 89 of Woodstock who passed peacefully at the Carleton Manor in Woodstock on Friday February 11, 2022. Carolyn was born on March 11,1932 to the late Murray and Gertrude (Monrow) Kelly in Plymouth NB. Carolyn worked for many dedicated and joyful years at Karnes Bakery in the office and was an avid bowler with a witty sense of humor. She was a lady of strong faith and a long-time valued parishioner of St Gertrude's Catholic Church. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her beloved husband Levi Allain and her special older sister Marie (Harrison) Corey. Carolyn is survived by her cherished nephew Richard (Nancy) Corey and devoted brother in law Jack (Sandra) Allain. There will be no public visitation or funeral service at this time. Interment service will take place in the spring at Calvary Cemetery. If so desired, donations in Carolyn's memory can be made to St John the Baptist Parish Church or Upper River Valley Hospital Foundation
