It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Blake Michael McCarthy of Woodstock on Saturday June 17, 2023, at the Carleton Manor at the age of 67.

Blake was born on April 2nd, 1956, in Perth Andover NB. After graduation from high school, he worked at different establishments, later he was the proprietor of Mike's Taxi for the rest of his working years.

Blake enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling, hunting, cards, and bingo. Most of his social time was spent with family. He was a dedicated son and was loyal and caring to his aging mother.

Blake was predeceased by his parents, Perley McCarthy and Jennie Cosgrove, his older brother, Gary, a nephew Clinton, and niece Deidre.

Blake is survived by his three sisters, Gloria Levesque (Glenn), Sandra Wright (Bob), and Gail, along with several nieces' nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held on Monday June 19th at Carleton Funeral Home, 337 Lockhart Mill Road, Jacksonville NB from 5:30 to 8PM.

Funeral Mass will be held at Saint John the Baptist (St Gertrude's) Church on Tuesday June 20th at 11:00AM, interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery.
