Blair Sampy Tompkins
Oct 8, 1953 – Feb 20, 2026
It is with deep sorrow, yet unwavering faith, that we announce the passing of Blair Tompkins a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and a truly godly man. He passed away peacefully on Feb 20,2026, surrounded by the love of his family.
Born on Oct 8, 1953, in Bath, Blair lived a life grounded in faith, integrity, and quiet strength. His love for the Lord guided every step he took. He was a man of prayer, wisdom, and compassion — someone who led not only with words, but by example.
He found his greatest joy in his family and in serving others. Whether through his church, his work, or simple daily acts of kindness, he reflected Christ's love in the way he lived. His steady presence, gentle guidance, and unwavering faith were a foundation for all who knew him.
He is lovingly remembered by his wife Annabelle Tompkins, his children Michelle, Joni (Kris) and Ashlee. His grandchildren Xavier, Izarah, Asher, Jordan, Jeremiah, Bandalay, Jamila, Malik, he is survived by brothers, Stephen (Kathy), Mike (Marilyn), Victor (Caroline), Dennis, Peter (Sylvia), sisters, Kathy, Judy (Larry), Debbie, as well as many Nieces, Nephews and Cousins, and many dear friends.
He was predeceased by his Father Wendell Tompkins, Mother, Marie Tompkins, and Uncle Murray Rideout.
Though our hearts are broken, we take comfort in knowing that he has heard the words, "Well done, good and faithful servant" and now rests in eternal peace.
A celebration of life will be held Monday, Feb 23, at United Calvary Pentecostal Church. Visitation from 12-2, celebration of life at 2pm with a reception to follow.
