It is with much sadness that we announce the death of Bertram (Bun) Aubrey MacDonald of Lower Woodstock NB peacefully on Thursday March 20, 2025, at the Upper River Valley Hospital with his loving wife by his side in Waterville at the age of 76

He is survived by his wife, Fran, his daughters, Carrie (Brent) Gibson, and Kimberly Blanchard, grandchildren, Allyssa, Riley, Sarah, Kyle, Casey and Jordan, Great Grandchildren, Charlotte, Beau. Leon, Isabelle, Freya, Sister Christine (Holly) Cummings, and Brother Morris as well as a Niece and Nephews.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his granddaughter Abigail, and sister-in-law Geraldine.

Bun's career at NB Power started after graduating high school, he started out as a linesman and worked his way up to Customer Service.

Bun retired from NB Power in 1993 and opened and operated Spice of Life and Pizza Twice until 2010 when he finally retired again.

Bun was known by many for turning records at the Elks Club dances.

He loved to travel and like being on the computer and his computer games.

There will be no visitation or service at this time.

A graveside service will be held at a later date.

If so desired, donations can be made to the Diabetics Association in Bun's memory.

The family would like to thank the staff of URVH of two North and a very special thanks to Wendy for all her help along the way.
